I am taking meds to keep my blood pressure low. Because of this I have low blood pressure; should I mark that I have high blood pressure as a symptom anyway?

You are here:

Yes. If you are taking anti-hypertensives (meds that help to lower your blood pressure), you should note that you have hypertension or high blood pressure. However, if your blood pressure is consistently below 90/60 (hypotension) then you should also note that you have low blood pressure  (even though this is due to your blood pressure medications). If this is the case, we strongly encourage you to check with your prescriber to make sure they are aware of your low blood pressure due to your medications.
